Let me tell you things are happening... Little Caleb is growing up so fast.
It seemed like the other day he was just born and we were holding this new born baby in our arms... Look at him now!

So this week was a good one for us as a family, we are pretty keen runners and in December we decided to get a running pram that takes both of our kids.
This weekend was one of our favourite races so we decided to make sure that the WHOLE family ran the race. Debs did exceptionally well and ran a PB... She is such a machine. The pic below is when we had finished, as you will see the kids aced it as well.
We'll done to Gabby and Caleb for sitting still for an hour and waking up so early without being cranky and we'll done to my wife for a power run!
Wow so I suppose that I am in need of putting up a post of the latest on our family, I will post a few more individual ones in the coming days (something to look forward to) but for now here is an idea of what's been happening in the Payne family since the last time I put up a post. Our little kiddies are growing so fast now, Gabby is now 18 months and Caleb is 7 months, we are truly thankful for them both and the Grace that God gives us everyday as we raise them for his honour and glory.
"Blessings"
We pray for blessings, we pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
And all the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things
'Cause what if your blessings come through rain drops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise
We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear
We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near
We doubt your goodness, we doubt your love
As if every promise from Your word is not enough
And all the while, You hear each desperate plea
And long that we'd have faith to believe
'Cause what if your blessings come through rain drops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise
When friends betray us
When darkness seems to win We know that pain reminds this heart
That this is not,
This is not our home
It's not our home
'Cause what if your blessings come through rain drops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if my greatest disappointments or the aching of this life
Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy
What if trials of this life
The rain, the storms, the hardest times are your blessings in disguise
This weekend was one of those fun family ones where we got to celebrate as a family Gabbys 1st birthday, it is amazing to see how big all the kids have got. Just watching all the boys (and Erin) running around playing soccer outside just made me realise again how good God has been to us as a family and bless us with lots of little and not so little ones.
One of the great joys was seeing little Kate again, she was the youngest and latest addition to the family but now seeing her with Gabby kind of makes her a big girl now : )
